As I passed through the entrance curtain, I was relieved to find a homely and calming atmosphere. The vegetable stew that came out with the beer I ordered first was infused with a rich dashi flavor and had a gentle taste. Next, the fried fish that I had ordered was plump and the crispy coating was irresistible. The hot dashimaki (Japanese omelette) I enjoyed at my seat had a moderate sweetness, and its fluffy texture was impressive. Additionally, the simmered rockfish I ordered had a mild flesh that absorbed the umami, making me want to eat more rice. The conversation with the friendly staff was enjoyable, and it turned out to be a time of great satisfaction for both the meal and my heart.
