The great 2015 Vintage of this incredible 45th Vintage of one of Australia's most loved Shiraz / Cabernet blends. Individual parcels from single Barossa and Eden Valley vineyards were all fermented separately, blocks from 1925 / 1935 & 1945 give solid foundation to terroir' and depth. Matured for 21 months in partial new French Oak and infusions of Hungarian and American for extra depth. Exotic red fruits of currents, blackberries and spices, cedar notes, caramels and macha, medium to full bodied the tannins are light and persistent with tight acidity, huge depth of character and length.
