The diner by the lake has a warm atmosphere that is very pleasant. The signboard features 'Himemasu' (a type of trout), which is available as both sashimi and fried, and both are fresh and rich in flavor. The sashimi is cut thick, very smooth, and has no unpleasant odor, with just the right amount of fat. The freshly fried dish has a light batter, and the fish is moist enough to be satisfying even without sauce. There is also ramen, and the miso curry in particular has a good balance of flavors that makes you want to keep eating. The window side is bright, and the interior, run by a couple, is friendly and comfortable.
