This remarkable tequila features a delicate combination of Clase Azul Plata with a subtle touch of Clase Azul Reposado matured in French oak casks and an eight-year-old Extra Añejo aged in ex bourbon casks and finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
Nose: Rye spice, vanilla, and caramel Palate: Rye spice mingles with caramel and vanilla creating a flavor profile that’s easily alluded to based on the aroma. There’s a developed amount of seasoned oak as well, giving it much needed dimension. Finish: The sip ends nicely with rye spice and seasoned oak dominating the start of the finish. There’s a hint of caramel sweetness as well, providing a sweeter note to contrast the more overpowering spice found in the finish. Medium to long lasting.
