Shinro-an is a spacious restaurant located right in front of the Inner Shrine, which we visited after our visit to Ise Jingu Shrine. I ordered a set of Ise udon and tekonezushi. The Ise udon noodles are thick and bulky, and the flavor is enhanced when mixed well with the dark broth and soy sauce. The tekonezushi is easy to eat, with pickled tuna on top of sweet rice. The restaurant also has reserved seating for tourist groups, making it a useful place to go when you want to eat a delicious meal in the Ise Shrine area.
