A hearty hot sandwich café utilizing local ingredients

Popolas Food Shop is a charming café located near Higo-Ozu Station, exuding a Showa-era ambiance. The highly recommended menu item, the hot sandwich, features generous portions of red beef and chicken, served in an open sandwich style with fresh vegetables. The interior is decorated in an antique style, creating a cozy atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy the local vibe right in front of the station. Each visit brings new discoveries, making it a place you’ll want to return to.

It's a cozy two-story shop located just a short walk from the station. A cute dog greets you at the entrance, making you feel at home. After placing your order on the first floor, you go up the stairs to the second floor, which is very stylish with antique-style furniture. Sitting on the sofa, you can enjoy a great view and relax. The hot sandwich is filled with the rich flavor of red beef and a variety of colorful vegetables, with the aroma of basil providing a nice accent. You can also enjoy the savory charcoal-flavored chicken and hot dogs, all of which are very satisfying.
