As I entered the café, a calm atmosphere enveloped me, allowing me to relax immediately. The signature open shoe was larger than I had imagined, filled to the brim with smooth custard. The refreshing tartness of the fruit combined with the sweetness of the cream created a lightness that made it easy to enjoy with a knife and fork. The richly aromatic coffee was slightly bitter, further enhancing the sweetness of the shoe. The jarred pudding I chose as a souvenir was rich, and the raspberry sauce added a delightful accent that impressed me. I was able to spend time idly while listening to soothing music, which warmed my heart.
