This old private house café is one of the most notable in the prefecture. The purely Japanese style, atmospheric, and striking exterior is also eye-catching. The garden side of the store is all glass, and just looking at the meticulously tended garden is a tasteful experience. On fine days, warm light pours in, and the dishes served in this open restaurant where time passes leisurely are exceptional. The restaurant is also known for its delicious food, which has a homey, gentle flavor that is comforting and relaxing. The weekly lunch, limited to 20 servings, is also very popular. Advance reservations are required.

I invited my mom to lunch for the first time in a long time 👩‍👧🍴 I wanted to eat this week's menu so badly, and I wanted to take my mom to Endo Chaya, so I invited her to go👍. This week's menu is "fluffy egg shrimp chili" 🦐🍳. I've been wanting to try this menu for a long time and my wish came true 🤤. Big plump prawns and fluffy eggs.... I thought it was just prawns, but there was also tofu 😳! The tofu makes the dish more hearty and satisfying 👌 The tofu also has the delicious flavor of the shrimp and the chili sauce. The chili sauce is also delicious with the flavor of the shrimp and the tofu. I want to copy this! The chili sauce is not spicy but sweet, It is a taste that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. White onions are added on top of the chili sauce. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) is rich in broth and has a smooth texture, I think it was prawns, ginkgo nuts, and fish paste 🤔. Macaroni salad with crab cakes and cucumber. The sweet and creamy mayo sauce was too good! The side dish of the day was simmered radish, konnyaku, carrots, and beef. The ingredients were delicious and full of flavor! I especially like konnyaku. Miso soup consisted of deep-fried tofu, enoki mushrooms, wakame seaweed, and tofu. I like the sweetness, the intensity of flavor, and the size of the ingredients👍. This comes with a drink. 1000 yen without tax is really cosy 🥺. I'm glad my mom said it's delicious and tasty too 💓 We didn't eat dessert that day, we went to a supermarket, went to Tsuji-san, went to a supermarket, went shopping and went home: 🙆‍♀️ I got to buy Rumi's strawberry jam and Tsuji's bread, which I've been wanting to try ✨. Today is the prototype day of Yamaimo Kafu: 👩🏻‍🍳 We have to work hard for next month's Yamaimo Kafu 💪!

Mai-chan called me and put the green tea tiramisu on hold for me. 😭💓 Mai-chan's energy 😭👏👏. Thanks Mai-chan 🥺🙇‍♀️💓 I called and they said the matcha tiramisu is the last one! I saw a post about matcha tiramisu last year and wanted to try it, I'm so glad my wish came true! We went at the very last minute so we had the place to ourselves 😂. Sorry for the back and forth posting: 🙇‍♀️ I am posting my birthday post first. It's been a while since my partner ( ) and I had a hands-on cafe activity. We had lunch and then went to eat strawberry tart at Efuchaya 🍓. Thanks for the reservation, Mayu😌 We ate at a tatami-like place this time🍴. While we were waiting for the cake, we saw a lovely strawberry tart 🥺✨ surprise from Mayu-chan! I was so happy with the cute strawberry tart and the congratulations message 💕. I also wanted to try the ice cream and they brought a separate plate of ice cream 🍨. After eating the fig jam tart, I fell in love with Efuchaya's tarts and wanted to try my favorite strawberry tart, so it was great to have Mayu celebrate with me while I ate it 💕💕. Thank you so much to the staff at Efuchaya for your wonderful support 😌✨ The crunchy tart dough with the creamy custard cream and sweet and sour strawberries. A collaboration of my favorite things. It was too delicious ✨. This tart filled with custard cream can only be found at Yeofuchaya 🤤. I want to go back for lunch next time ♡. Thank you for the cake, Mayu-chan 🙏🍰💗 I also got a birthday present afterwards and it was a fulfilling day! Thank you so much, Mayu-chan 🥰.

Saturday, November 2 Cafe Katsudo ☕✨ with partner ( ) The first handsome day of the month with my partner! This time, we went to a cafe that I've wanted to visit for a long time 🥺✨ Thanks Mayu for the reservation 😌💓 The menu this day was bulgogi! I was so happy because it was my first time to go to Efuchaya and I love their lunch! Besides bulgogi, there were squid radish, steamed egg custard, macaroni salad, pickles, miso soup, salad and rice. 1000 yen with a drink for such an extensive and elaborate menu is a great deal 😳⁉️✨! That's fantastic 👏👏👏👏 lol The bulgogi is filled with beef! The vegetables are as plentiful as the meat: chives, bean sprouts, carrots, and shimeji mushrooms! The vegetables are cooked to perfection and crispy and good 🙆‍♀️ The sweet and spicy seasoning makes the white rice go faster 🍚 The squid and daikon have a gentle taste with a good soup stock. The daikon radish was soaked in flavor. And I really liked the steamed egg custard! The sweet and smooth steamed egg custard with a big plump shrimp 🦐✨ was a pleasant surprise! Chawanmushi is my favorite 🥰! Macaroni salad with tuna and cucumber. I wonder if they put sugar or something in it? I don't mind sweet macaroni salad, in fact I like it sweet 🤤. The miso soup was delicious too! At any rate, everything was delicious! This is of course a repeat decision 😆💕 I wish I could have gone on the horse mackerel fry day 🥺🐟 Next up: sweets🍰. Ye-Fu Tea House An old house cafe in Saijo. They post on their instagram which week it is every month, I am glad that I can make a reservation when I want to eat! On this day's menu Flounder with butter ponzu"? I don't think there are many cafes that serve fish dishes for lunch 😳. Tender, fatty flounder, onions and enoki mushrooms were grilled together. The flounder, onions and enoki mushrooms were very tasty with the flavor of the flounder and butter ponzu sauce as well as the onion and enoki. 🙆‍♀️ The shiso leaf topping did a great job 👍. This is so good I'm trying to copy it at home 🤭. Side dishes were steamed egg custard, macaroni salad, pumpkin and beef stew. Chawanmushi and macaroni salad are side dishes that come with every meal. This steamed egg custard and macaroni salad are also very tasty! The steamed egg custard is smooth and melty with plenty of sweet soup stock. The ingredients are also gorgeous, including a large shrimp 🦐. Macaroni salad with sweet mild mayo sauce. This sweetness is addictive. Next time I want to go when they have shrimp mayo or fried horse mackerel 🤤.

Lunch🍴 [Efūchaya] We had lunch at Efuchaya before the state of emergency was declared. It was raining heavily before we entered the restaurant, but by the time we left, it was a beautiful sunny day. The take-out bento they are serving now looks very tasty and I'm curious about it 🌱
