In a small hotel restaurant, I was seated by the window, which was very calming. The day's menu was delightful, and the chicken thigh was very tender, with a pleasantly tangy demi-glace that left an impression. The miso-mayo seasoning was just right, and the rice croquette added to my satisfaction. The thick sushi roll, or ehomaki, had a good balance of ingredients like herring roe, kohada, cucumber, and omelet, with the vinegared rice having a gentle sweetness. The soup with large fish balls, as well as the small dishes like ganmodoki with hijiki, marinated vegetables, and white sesame salad, were all carefully prepared and enjoyable. While I was curious about the popular omurice, the shrimp fried rice, topped with four shrimp, was perfectly cooked and very delicious.
