A Healing Café Surrounded by Natural Materials

Aone Kusakukan is a café located along the Doshi Road in Kanagawa Prefecture, surrounded by nature. The building, made of solid wood, along with a wood-burning stove, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly heals visitors. In addition to a menu featuring fresh local ingredients, there is also a woodworking craft workshop on-site, providing enjoyment for both adults and children.

There is a cafe space filled with the scent of wood that we stopped by during our drive. The interior features high ceilings and wooden tables, with a subtle wood aroma that is pleasant. Near the entrance, local vegetables and crafts are displayed, which are captivating to look at. The ordering style is to place your order at the register first, and the combination of handmade cake and blended coffee was a perfect match. The coffee is rich in aroma with a refreshing aftertaste, and it tastes even better when enjoyed on the terrace while feeling the breeze. The clientele is diverse, including touring individuals and families, and the calm atmosphere with jazz playing allowed for a relaxing break.
