Tsuboya Nakasu is a long-established yakitori restaurant that specializes in authentic yakitori made from domestically sourced ingredients, as well as a deliciously chewy motsunabe (beef tripe hot pot). With careful skewering by skilled artisans, you can fully enjoy the rich flavor of Hanami chicken. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of local sake from Kyushu, making it a casual spot where you can easily visit even alone at the counter seats.

The grilled chicken skewers are fragrant and delicious. There are many varieties, and with a full range of side dishes, you won't get bored. You can enjoy a platter of skewers including okra rolls, pork belly, gizzard, and liver. The tsukune (chicken meatball) has a rich yolk inside, and it's a dish you definitely want to try. You can leisurely savor it at the counter with a bottle of beer or sweet potato shochu. It's a place you can casually drop by and enjoy in Nakasu.
