A heartwarming izakaya experience

Rokkakubashi is a lovely izakaya known for its warm atmosphere and homemade dishes. It particularly prides itself on its tonkatsu, deep-fried chicken, and motsunabe, all of which are carefully prepared masterpieces. The cutlet is made from Kamui pork, with a crispy coating, and the meat is tender and juicy. The fat is well-balanced, allowing you to enjoy it without feeling heavy. You can change the flavor with salt from Hingi, bamboo charcoal salt, a sauce that brings out the sweetness of the vegetables, or wasabi soy sauce. The rice is cooked perfectly and pairs wonderfully with the grated natural yam. The small dishes and drinks can be enjoyed self-service, and it's nice that you can have refills. The staff are cheerful and kind, creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can easily enjoy both the set meals and drinks.

At the newly relocated restaurant, you can enjoy both set meals and drinks. The Kamui pork cutlet is surprisingly tender, and the richness of the fat is exquisite. Each bite delivers a strong umami flavor, providing a sense of satisfaction. The natural yam tororo rice is a specialty and is also enjoyable to savor. Rice, small side dishes, and drinks are available for unlimited refills, and the self-service corner is convenient. The bright and attentive service allowed me to relax while watching TV.
