【Tokyo Monzen-Nakacho】 A bistro French restaurant that opened in 2022 after the 7th head chef of Ginza Le Can became independent. I lost the reservation phone battle, but fortunately, I was able to visit for the first time thanks to a reservation made by a friend. I was very indecisive between the course and a la carte, but the kind staff patiently taught me various options, so I decided to order what I liked this time. They also adjust the portion sizes according to the number of people, which is great because I can order as much as I want. A la carte ◇ Assorted platter (for 2) White liver mousse, boudin noir, pork loin ham, pâté en croûte ◇ Sea urchin, crab, red pepper mousse, tomato jelly The mousse is rich and the flavor of the red pepper really comes through! ◇ Rock oyster, cold, watercress, Western horseradish The seasoning is exceptionally delicious, and the oysters are cut into a size that is easy to eat. ◇ Italian veal sweetbreads, pan-fried Tender veal with a rich sauce that pairs perfectly with the asparagus on the side. ◇ French Bigorre black pork roast Chewy and juicy black pork, possibly my favorite. The sauce has a nice saltiness and is easy to eat. ◇ Lobster bisque risotto A dish that everyone praises. The flavor is, of course, exquisite, and above all, I was surprised by the tenderness of the shrimp. The deliciousness is undeniable, and it is so popular that it is fully booked with customers even on weekdays, with the next reservation being in August of next year! I will do my best to challenge the reservation phone battle again so that I can come back before then. Thank you for the meal.

This is a reservation-only restaurant started by a French chef who wanted a more casual place. I have respect for him as a chef in every aspect.
