Sitting at the counter, I felt relieved in the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. The sushi with fluffy rice and fresh toppings was exquisite. In particular, the fatty winter yellowtail and the sashimi of wild mackerel were rich in flavor, bringing a smile to my face with just one bite. The simmered yellowtail with daikon was tender all the way to the bones, infused with broth, and had an unforgettable taste. The private room with a sunken kotatsu had heating and a hot carpet, allowing us to stay cozy even on a cold day. The light conversation with the chef was enjoyable, making for a happy night as the sake kept flowing.
