Restaurant Saikaya

We take pride in our dishes made with fresh seafood, especially the sashimi platter featuring locally caught fish, which is very popular. We offer seasonal fish prepared using the best cooking methods, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of dishes such as grilled fish, simmered dishes, and fried foods. In addition to fatty fish, we also have a rich selection of shellfish and crustacean dishes, which pair excellently with sake.

The calm Japanese-style space inside the restaurant is equipped with private rooms and tatami seating, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. It is popular not only among locals but also tourists, providing an atmosphere where one can unwind while feeling the sea of Shirahama. It is suitable for business meetings, family meals, and special occasions.

Saka-ya, which has supported the food culture of Shirahama for many years, is a Japanese restaurant beloved by locals and tourists alike. With a keen eye for fresh seafood and cooking that utilizes traditional techniques, it has many repeat customers. While adapting to the changes of the times, it continues to offer the unchanging taste of authenticity.
