A renowned European-style curry restaurant where nostalgia and deliciousness coexist

Grand Route 66 is a stylish establishment with a concept inspired by America's Route 66, offering European-style curry dishes. The beef curry has a perfect balance of flavors, not too spicy nor too sweet, with tender meat that melts in your mouth. The pork curry is also incredibly tender, easily cut with a spoon, and features a gentle flavor harmonized by 7 different spices. Each visit allows you to savor the unique charm of different curry dishes.

This is a small curry specialty shop with a striking yellow exterior that becomes visible after a short walk from Sengoku Station. Inside, there is a modest arrangement of counters and tables, and a nostalgic selection of Western music plays, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The thick curry sauce is infused with the flavors of vegetables and fruits, and the spiciness is mild with a rich taste. The Viennese-style cutlet curry, with a thinly pounded cutlet coated in balsamic, offers a delightful contrast of crunchiness and layered flavors. The deluxe pork curry comes with a salad and a homemade baked cheesecake, providing satisfaction until the very end. While enjoying the meal, surrounded by decorations themed around American highways, I felt as if I could forget the time and immerse myself in the world of curry at this wonderful shop.
