The shop located in the hot spring town in the mountains has a homely atmosphere that spreads as soon as you pass through the noren (curtain). Next to the counter, there is a display case like that of a sushi restaurant, and it is delightful to see fresh seafood lined up. The sashimi platter has thick slices of each type, and they melt in your mouth. The grilled yellowtail collar and fried octopus are also prepared with great care, making it feel like a kaiseki level beyond that of a typical izakaya. The miso curry ramen I ordered to finish was perfectly balanced with spices and miso, going down smoothly even after drinking. In the shop adorned with numerous signed memorabilia, I thoroughly enjoyed delicious food and a wonderful time.
