As I entered the restaurant, the warmth of the wood spread around, making me feel at ease. Dishes piled high on large plates were brought to the table, and my excitement couldn't be contained. The translucent fugu sashimi was firm with each slice, and the umami spread gently with the ponzu sauce and condiments. The crunchy fugu skin salad was refreshing, and it paired perfectly with the barley shochu. The fragrant grilled Bungo beef and the piping hot sesame-fried fugu were both robust in flavor and aroma, making my chopsticks move eagerly. Thanks to the friendly couple who managed the place, the warm atmosphere deepened my travel memories.
