I use this place every time I come to Beppu. The Seki mackerel and Seki horse mackerel are somewhat pricey and depend on availability, but they are worth it. I recommend it. Additionally, you can enjoy various foods from Oita, so I recommend it.

Unchanging deliciousness. Fresh fish dishes from Oita. I ordered the sashimi and tempura set meal. Last time I visited, my family was so impressed with the tempura, so today we had a luxurious dinner with sashimi + tempura. The seafood here is fresh and very delicious, but the dishes other than seafood were also very tasty. Reservations can be made from 18:00 in the evening, so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

I came to Beppu on the last Solaseed Air Oita flight from Haneda. I wanted to eat delicious sashimi, so I made a reservation on the plane to Kaisen Izutsu. The food and staff here are excellent. The sashimi was fresh and fresh, and the staff said, "If you don't drink alcohol, we have a set menu for you. It's the best, isn't it? Viva 🎵Oita. Izutsu is the best.

I made a reservation and arrived in front of the restaurant before 6 PM. It was a weekday, but perhaps due to spring break, there were already about four groups waiting. As soon as the restaurant opened, customers started coming in one after another, and soon all the seats were filled. I ordered a seafood bowl and a ryukyu bowl right after entering. The ryukyu bowl arrived quickly, but I had to wait about 50 minutes for the seafood bowl, possibly because other customers had similar orders. Other customers were also getting impatient and asking, 'Is it ready yet?' The seafood bowl had fresh ingredients and was delicious. The rice was vinegared, which made it tasty. Since the wait time was long, I thought it would be better to come with some extra time to spare.

I had a seafood bowl, and it was very fresh and delicious. I entered the restaurant at 18:10, and the first floor was fully booked. I was told that the ryukyu bowl had just run out. The air conditioning inside the restaurant is very strong, and it's quite cold. A jacket is necessary.
