The spacious counter and tatami seating create a relaxed atmosphere. After quenching my thirst with a bottle of beer, my spirits lift as I nibble on grilled fish and tempura of cod milt. The tempura of cod milt has a crispy batter and a rich, creamy interior that brings a smile to my face. The nameko (a type of fish) is enhanced by aromatic vegetables and miso, making it irresistibly delicious. The sushi, including medium fatty tuna, features fresh ingredients, and the size of the rice is just right, leaving me impressed with each piece. The warm hospitality of the chef and the proprietress is also comforting, making it an enticing place where I tend to linger.
