When I came to Kyotango, I was drawn in by the smell of the iron plate and wandered in. The sound of sizzling from the large iron plate at the counter was delightful, and I was happy that the food was brought to the table piping hot. The 'betayaki' had a thin batter packed with the umami of the ingredients, and I became addicted from the first bite. The 'tonpeiyaki' had a fantastic combination of finely chopped pork and mayonnaise sauce, making me want to drink more. The yakisoba allowed me to fry the noodles to my liking, so I could fully enjoy the aroma and richness of the sauce. The menu was extensive, and spending time watching the aromas rising from the iron plate one after another was very enjoyable.
