Good location, local food~! In Kurashiki, I had a parfait at Miyake Shoten and wandered around the Bikan Historical Quarter. We met our friend's husband and children, and said goodbye in the evening because our third son got tired... We came back to Okayama! After all, parfaits make you hungry! I'm going to visit a facility called Sunstay in Okayama Station Building. I found Azuma Sushi, which sells sushi to-go! Edomae Chirashi: 1100 yen (raw chirashi) Setouchi Chirashi: 1080 yen (a small portion size of bara-zushi) Okayama Barazushi: 1,620 yen Sawara-don: 1,300 yen Salmon/Ike-don: 1,650 yen Pressed sushi with mackerel 1,300 yen Makarizushi 1,000 yen If you want to buy something here and eat it on the Shinkansen, you can eat in. The eat-in counter is an L-shaped counter with a glass wall in full view. What shall I have? Okayama barazushi 1,620 yen Makarizushi 1,000 yen Straw pressed sushi 1,300 yen Straw rice bowl 1,300 yen Vinegared mamakari 650 yen Seared tairagi 860 yen Vinegared shako (octopus) 1,360 yen Local beer and sake from Okayama were also available! After much deliberation, we decided on Okayama barazushi! There were many kinds of ingredients on the vinegared rice, such as egg, Spanish mackerel, conger eel, shrimp, makari, octopus, and oboro! It's so exciting to have local food on top! I've come all this way! I want to eat something like this before I go home. There are a variety of ingredients, so you won't get bored until the last bite! There is nothing special about each ingredient. I ate it while thinking that it was just like this. The sushi rice was a little too mushy, so that was a little disappointing. If there were less ingredients, it would have been hard to eat! The restaurant is made of glass, so passersby can see you, but I was fine with that because I was sitting with my back to the glass. I think it's okay for a girl alone. I think the most important point of this restaurant is its location. There is a ramen shop diagonally across the street. There is an Okayama Ramen store diagonally across the street. But we didn't go to the other one and went straight back to Shin-Osaka... I'm going to visit my friend in Tsuyama in the fall!
