A renowned ramen and half-fried establishment blending tradition and freshness

Kosui Ken is a well-established eatery with over 60 years of history, offering a charming retro Showa-era ambiance. Their signature dishes include simple yet satisfying ramen and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside half-fried items. The half-fried dish, lightly scented with sesame oil, can be enjoyed with curry powder, garlic powder, or salt according to your preference. With friendly service and a clean environment, this restaurant is beloved by locals.

The restaurant has a bright and clean space that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, and you feel at ease the moment you enter. The signature ramen features a traditional soup with a gentle chicken broth that spreads throughout, being light yet rich, and I ended up drinking the soup to the last drop. The half-fried chicken has a fragrant aroma of sesame oil, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior that makes it hard to stop eating. You can freely sprinkle salt, curry powder, and garlic powder to change the flavor, making it enjoyable until the end. The side dishes of kimchi and offal stew also have a gentle taste that brings out the umami of the vegetables and meat, making them perfect for a palate cleanser. With tatami rooms and glass-door private rooms available, it's a wonderful place where families can relax comfortably.
