Nickname: Crogel. This dessert features a 'Salted Butter Caramelized Croissant' enriched with butter and seasoned with sea salt from Izu Oshima, topped with a choice of two types of homemade gelato. It allows you to enjoy the exquisite taste crafted by a skilled patissier in a convenient one-handed format. By processing the inherently delicate and easily crumbled croissant in a unique way, we have successfully created a large croissant cut in half, resembling a cone, filled generously with gelato. The homemade gelato options are, of course, original flavors used in the exquisite creations. You can choose from a total of four flavors, including classic options like milk from Tanakasan and French chocolate, as well as unique daily specials featuring flavors like rose and basil.
The 'Salted Butter Caramelized Croissant' (nicknamed: Caracro) is also used in 'Crogelato'. This salted croissant, characterized by the flavor of sea salt from Izu Oshima and caramel, is made using the 'layered butter method' that combines French and Japanese butters, achieving a deeper and richer flavor. It can be enjoyed as a 'salted sweet' with a slightly sweet finish.
