The cozy interior centered around a small counter exudes the atmosphere of the Showa era, providing a sense of calm. It is run by a couple, with the chef quietly and carefully grilling the food. The grilled chicken is fragrant, and I particularly love the rich flavor of the pork belly. The fresh chicken gizzard sashimi has a great texture and pairs perfectly with raw onions and yuzu pepper. The squid sashimi is served on a skewer, and it's interesting and delicious to enjoy it with yuzu pepper instead of wasabi. There are many regular customers, so it can get lively; it's reassuring to ask the staff about the availability of sashimi.
