The cozy interior centered around the counter has a calming atmosphere. Upon entering, the smiling owner greeted me promptly, which was reassuring. The menu is focused solely on seafood, and the simplicity without any unnecessary items is refreshing. The kohada marinated in vinegar has an excellent balance of acidity and umami, making it a perfect accompaniment to sake. Eating the grilled bonito with salt and myoga spreads a delightful aroma, bringing a smile to my face. The sake-steamed local clams I ordered as a finishing touch had a gentle broth that warmed my heart on a cold night.
