The door requires a bit of courage to open, but once inside, the lively counter and tatami seating make you feel at ease. The owner greets you warmly, making it easy to feel comfortable even if it's your first time. The fish menu on the whiteboard features many rare items, and just choosing from it is exciting. The white fish sashimi and seared bonito are surprisingly fresh, and the umami spreads in your mouth the moment you take a bite. The butter-fried night light shell and seafood-rich gratin are also fragrant and hard to stop eating. It's a very comfortable place where you can relax while listening to the interactions between local customers and the chef.
