At the deli and cafe in Uenoge, you can enjoy your meal either in-store or to-go. Beautifully arranged cases display vegetable and meat side dishes, making it fun to choose. There is a daily lunch special, and I love that I can combine my favorite side dishes with the main. The beef tendon curry was not heavy and went down smoothly. The potato salad with tuna and boiled eggs, as well as the marinated squid salad, had great textures and were satisfying. The gentle flavors that highlight the ingredients warm the heart in this lovely shop.
