Crunchy and fluffy~! After breakfast, we came to the Sendai morning market! It consists of street stores facing the 100-meter-long "morning market street" and tenants on the first floor of a low-to-medium-rise building facing the street. The market consists of about 70 stores, including fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, meat stores, specialty stores of beans and grains, pickles, fish cakes, ramen noodle shops, and flower stores. I have the impression that it is a rather compact market. Yukimi Tofu, a tofu shop in the market You can get freshly made thick tofu here! And it's only 100 yen per piece! They fry them when you order, so you can wander around the store while they fry them! Since this is a tofu shop, the main items are tofu and deep-fried tofu. but they also have fu, nori, seasonings, and more! Let's have a half portion of freshly fried deep-fried tofu for two! The crispy outside and the fluffy tofu is so delicious! You can smell the soybeans even before you eat it, and it's amazing to eat! It has a strong soybean flavor, which made me think that the tofu here is definitely delicious! You can add soy sauce or ponzu (Japanese citrus juice) as you like! I think I enjoyed the ponzu better. I gave up buying tofu and deep-fried tofu because I was planning to hang around after this... The fried tofu we had at Kuranosho the day before was delicious. Sendai may be a town with good tofu! If you go to the market, try the freshly fried deep-fried tofu before 3 pm!
