At the entrance of Horyu-ji Temple, I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere. From the window, I could catch a glimpse of the five-story pagoda, which added to the enjoyment of the view. The kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) takes some time to prepare, but the aroma of freshly cooked rice wafts through the air. The wagyu beef tendon kamameshi has a tender texture that crumbles easily, allowing the rich flavor to be fully appreciated. The ingredients of the Yamato chicken were cut large, providing a pleasant chewiness with each bite. If you order in advance, they will coordinate the cooking time, reducing concerns about waiting.
