Takachiho Gokoku

Homemade 'tsunkiri dago' with plenty of vegetables in soup. A classic menu that has supported the meals of farmers in Takachiho since ancient times.

In the Takachiho region, on cold nights during the Kagura festival, there is a tradition of eating hot udon topped with sweet and savory cooked chicken and burdock. It is said that this used to be a feast in the past. Even now, its unique flavor has a different deliciousness from regular udon.
