Renovated from a 150-year-old kura, "Mochi and Sweets Tsukiatari" is a hidden café that surprises its visitors. The interior has a very calming atmosphere, showcasing a beautiful harmony between the open space and the kura's framework. The handmade sweets and mochi are as soft as a baby's cheek, and the combination of black syrup and soybean flour is exquisite. Located at the foot of the mountains in Fukui, this café is perfect for enjoying a leisurely time in nature.

I entered a stylish café that was renovated from an old storehouse, and the exposed beams are very cool. The greenery visible through the large windows is pleasant, and I felt relieved the moment I sat down. The freshly made rice cakes are generously coated with soybean flour and black syrup, and I was impressed by their fluffy texture. They are small, so I could eat them quickly, and I savored the last piece with a spoon. They pair perfectly with coffee or green tea, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely time. The staff's attentive interactions were warm, and by the time I left, I felt relaxed.
