A cozy inn and izakaya filled with nostalgia and deliciousness

Furusato Sakaba Sugiyoshi is a combined inn and izakaya where you can enjoy the local cuisine of Kochi. The interior features a traditional irori (sunken hearth), allowing guests to savor fresh local fish and home-cooked dishes. The katsuo no tataki (seared bonito) is particularly exquisite, setting it apart from urban flavors. With warm hospitality and a nostalgic atmosphere, it's a heartwarming place to indulge in luxurious platter dishes.

The buffet style allows you to choose local dishes for yourself, and they are all appealing. The fish is fresh, and the seared bonito has a wonderful aroma that makes me happy. The sashimi pairs well with garlic slices, creating a delicious aftertaste. The morning miso soup with sea lettuce and the flavorful omelet are comforting. The menu is easy to eat for families, which is reassuring. It is lively with travelers and locals, and the warm atmosphere is pleasant.
