It was a small counter-only shop right near Hanshin Noda Station, and from the moment I sat down, I was enveloped in the scent of wood, which lifted my spirits. The omakase progressed at a good pace, and the variety from appetizers to sushi was exciting and never-ending. The rice made from Akita Komachi had a pleasant acidity from the amber vinegar, making it a perfect match for all the toppings. The plump shrimp, the rich tuna, and the moist and tender eel each offered a delightful difference in texture and aroma with every piece. The chef's attention to detail was meticulous, and I appreciated how he adjusted the size of the rice or changed it to sashimi according to my eating pace and preferences. Even though the portions were generous until the end, I didn't feel weighed down, and by the time I left the shop, I was naturally smiling.
