It's really nice to be able to enjoy a meal while looking at Lake Kitaura. The hot soup seeps into my body, and I feel relieved from the very first sip. The soy sauce ramen has a simple flavor that makes me want to drink the soup as well. The miso in Kasumigaura ramen has a fragrant aroma, and when mixed with sweet potato paste, a gentle sweetness spreads. The texture of the lotus root adds an accent, making the noodles go down easily. The fried smelt, fried river shrimp, and stewed offal also have a wonderful aroma, and we can all share and enjoy them together.
