Sushi Kawashima is located a 7-8 minute walk from Kashihara Jingu-mae Station in Nara. The restaurant has a Michelin 1-star rating, and the interior has the clean atmosphere of a modern art museum. The alcohol selection is diverse and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food is also very high, especially the albacore pâté and the hairy crab and cheese combination. The skill and attention to detail of the owner, Hiroyuki Kawashima, makes this restaurant a rare place to enjoy authentic nigirizushi in Nara Prefecture.
