Sitting at the counter, the fragrant smoke wafts in from the kitchen, lifting my spirits. The first dish that arrived, liver sashimi, was incredibly fresh, and its rich flavor made it impossible to put down my chopsticks. The grilled chicken wings and skewers were perfectly cooked and seasoned, making the beer go down easily. The salted cabbage I ordered in between was crunchy and refreshing, which was a nice touch. To finish, slurping the thin curly noodles in the ramen, the deep richness of the chicken broth soy sauce soup permeated my body. Even a quick visit left me highly satisfied, and it's no wonder there are so many regulars, given the comfortable atmosphere.
