Enjoy the elegant taste of handmade soba

Soba-dokoro Maruka is a Japanese-style dining establishment where you can savor handmade soba. The delicious noodles have excellent firmness and a smooth texture, with the ultra-thin noodles reminiscent of spring rain being a notable feature. The calm atmosphere of the restaurant makes it the perfect place to enjoy the exquisite dipping sauce paired with duck meat. It's an ideal spot to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend a relaxing time in tranquility.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, warm tea is served, which is comforting. The thin, hand-made soba has a good texture and can be eaten smoothly. The dipping sauce, fragrant with duck fat, changes in flavor each time you dip the soba, keeping it interesting until the end. The tempura, featuring large shrimp and squid, is perfectly crispy and pairs excellently with the soba. After the meal, slowly savoring the dipping sauce diluted with soba water allows the gentle umami to permeate your body. Even though they seem busy with deliveries, the service is attentive, and you can feel why this place has been loved by the community for a long time.
