The characteristic of Satsuma Chiran chicken is its exceptional flavor and texture that cannot be experienced with ordinary young chickens, raised with great care for over 450 days. As a result, the number of chickens that can be raised annually is only 0.8% of the usual young chickens, making it a precious commodity. Due to the long-term raising, it contains a lot of collagen, linoleic acid, and amino acids, which are key to flavor, making it a chicken that health and beauty-conscious customers will also appreciate. At 'Toridan', we use the particularly fatty 'special breed chicken thigh meat' from this precious Satsuma Chiran chicken.
