The authentic sweet potato shochu 'Akagi no Megumi' can be enjoyed deliciously in any way you like, such as with water or on the rocks. To enjoy the full-bodied sweet aroma, we recommend drinking it with hot water. You can dilute the base alcohol to your preferred strength and enjoy.
Mugitoro is the first shochu made in Japan from Daio-imo (Japanese yam) and wheat grown on the vast land in the Tone River basin, which flows leisurely at the foot of Mt. Akagi. The taste is a refreshing dry shochu with a faint aroma of yam.
