Musashikoyama, Tokyo
Opened in 2003, this restaurant is famous in Musashikoyama as a Michelin-starred restaurant for four consecutive years and one of the best yakitori restaurants in Tokyo.
The yakitori is made from Niigata Prefecture's "Koshino Chicken" and Chiba Prefecture's "Jidori Chicken". The food is delicious and well-prepared.
A la carte
Omakase 5-piece set
Chicken Chinese noodles
Limited to 10 customers a day! Since the opening of the restaurant, it has been so popular as a place to finish the meal that there is a sign in front of the restaurant that says "No one can eat only Chinese noodles.
The development of the Musashikoyama area has been more and more amazing recently.
The chicken was tender and very tasty, which explains the high rating.
However, there were some items that were a bit too salty for me, so I gave it a minus one.
However, I would like to go back to this restaurant again.
We did the omakase choice, the food was very tasty, but something to break up the many chicken dishes and cleanse the pallet would have been nice. The diversity of the dishes seemed to be more texturally diverse than flavor. We loved it and the chicken was so delicious, so don't want this to come across as criticism - just more of a heads up to others, if I were to go again I would order a la carte.
Thank you for a delicious meal.
The yakitori restaurant is always full. I hadn't been here for six months. I understand that this Michelin-starred restaurant is very popular, but after trying their yakitori, I became a captive of this restaurant's yakitori, not the stars. The amount of salt and the degree of grilling are exquisite, and although it is simple, it has a different taste from the others. I had the much talked about ramen for the first time, and it was so good that I thought it was the best in Japan.
