A store that loves soccer
This store is located about 100 meters from Midosuji Street on Eirakucho Street in Kitashinchi.
You will see a sign with a plastic soccer ball hanging in front of it, and go down to the basement from there.
There are two tables (one for four people and the other for two), but the counter seats about 10 people.
There is a screen in front of it, and anyway, soccer is playing all the time during business hours.
In addition to J-League, Nadeshiko League, European leagues, and national team games, there are also videos of famous games from the past, which are often available upon request.
Due to the opening hours, most of the live broadcasts are of the J-League or English Premier League, while weekdays are mainly recordings of the week's most notable matches. On weekdays, the main focus is on recordings of the week's most notable matches, but for matches such as the Liga Classico, where there are many requests for live broadcasts, the hours are extended to accommodate the requests.
It is also nice that they do not charge a special fee for the Japan national team games.
The prices are reasonable for Kitashinchi, with a 500 yen charge and alcohol from 600 yen, so I often use this bar when I want to have a drink while watching soccer in a daze.
Unlike sports bars in Minami and other areas, there are fewer people cheering noisily, so I like the fact that I can watch the national team games carefully.
Drinks include beer, shochu, sometimes sake (which the owner seems to like), simple cocktails, soft drinks, and in winter, oden.
The food menu is simple, but delivery from surrounding restaurants (takoyaki, etc.) is also available.
The owner, who is the same height and weight as the retired Maradona, says, "We are a soccer bar, so even if all the customers want to watch the Japan Series baseball game, if one of them wants to watch soccer, we give priority to any game! He is right.
Because of the location, people from the soccer association, former national team players, former J-League players, and team officials also come to the bar, but it is interesting to note that they do not make a fuss around the bar, and they drink normally.
Revisited in April 2014
I mean, I go there almost once a week.
There are about 10 seats at the counter, one table for 4 people and one table for 2 people. The restaurant is full for 20 people, including standing room only, so reservations are a must for big matches.
It is a place where you can enjoy yourself alone, but if you are a soccer fan, you can also enjoy looking at the goods and old magazines at halftime.
