It is an old private house restaurant, but it looks like a ryokan (Japanese inn) and has a nice atmosphere!
It was a hot season, but the bamboo forest can be seen from the seats like a remote place, which is perfect for a relaxing space.
There are various stores on the same site, and since there is a beautiful river below, you can relax at a cafe along the river, or actually enter the river to cool off! It is a resort away from the city center.
The food is reasonably priced even for lunch, but it is all very tasty and beautifully arranged! The portions are a bit large, and as someone who doesn't usually eat that much, I would have preferred a smaller portion of each dish overall, but other than that I have no complaints!
I wish the parking lot was a little easier to get into. There is only one entrance and one exit, but they are too narrow for cars to pass each other, and it's also on a slope, so it's very difficult when cars coming in and cars going out collide. When I went there with my family, one of us acted as a guide and we managed to get out.
