This is a very popular traditional bento lunch box served at tea ceremonies that has been handed down for about 100 years. This bento contains mainly seasonal pickled vegetables, eel, egg, dried tofu, and rice with jako shiso. In addition to the bento, guests can also enjoy white miso soup, mizumono, original tea and sweets. Please enjoy it in a room of a cultural asset and in a bowl from the Meiji era. A tour of a machiya (townhouse), a cultural asset, is also included.
At night, "Tomitaya's original Kyoto Kaiseki" will be served in the fantastic illumination. Please enjoy Kyoto Kaiseki in the fantastic atmosphere created by the contrast of light and machiya houses.
