Drinking with fellow foodies! The restaurant of the day was Kochiya Himonosuke, which opened on March 3! [[attached(1,center)]] It specializes in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture, and a member who loves Kochi Prefecture requested to go there! I was also curious to see what kind of cuisine they have, so I asked to visit! The place is located in a shopping street about 5 minutes east of JR Tsukamoto station! The storefront is conspicuously displayed with many pop-ups, so you can easily recognize it. Tsukamoto is in Yodogawa Ward, but I don't get a chance to go there often. If you want to go there by train, you have to go from Shin-Osaka to Osaka to Tsukamoto. If I take the train from Shin-Osaka, I have to go from Shin-Osaka to Osaka to Tsukamoto, then out to Umeda, and back to Yodogawa-ku, which is a pain in the ass! Inside the restaurant, there are tables, and in the back is a space for standing and drinking. [[attached(2,center)]] Each table is equipped with a cassette stove. Let's go ahead and eat! Hatsu Gatsuo straw-grilled chicken - Tataki Utsubo (eel) [[attached(3,center)]] Kochi Prefecture is famous for its bonito tataki, isn't it? And the first bonito landings start in March! The thickly cut bonito has no unpleasant smell and has the aroma of straw. It is so good with garlic chips and onion slices! I think I haven't had such delicious bonito in a long time! [[attached(4,center)]] [[attached(5,center)]] This is my first time to see Utsubo. The taste is light, but the skin is rich in collagen and the texture is very crispy. It's a texture I have never tasted anywhere else. The richness in collagen alone is a huge plus for women! Dried fish: Nigorogi, Yatte, Mehikari [[attached(6,center)]] [[attached(7,center)]] [[attached(8,center)]] It says "HIMONOSUKE", so it is the best of the store! I chose to order the popular NO.1 to NO.3! Bake and grill by yourself! [[attached(19,center)]] You can grill to your liking. I like my meat rare, but I like my fish well grilled Nirogi has a strong bitter taste. Burnt taste is a little bit like a "huh? Don't you think? I thought the skin was peeled off because of the way it was handled. But that's not it! This is this kind of fish. It's fatty and delicious! But the best is always the mehikari. I'm used to eating it, though. Kibinago Kenpi [[attached(9,center)]] You can't help but pick at it. The sweet and spicy flavor makes it hard to stop. I know it's better for my health to eat sweets like this. Kyokubi Kanpachi and Kaientai Sashimi Carpaccio of Kyokubi Kanpachi and Kaientai Bream [[attached(10,center)]] [[attached(11,center)]] Kochi brand farmed fish sashimi and carpaccio. Both are thickly cut and very satisfying! The naming is a bit mischievous, and I don't dislike this kind of sense! Kibinago sashimi [[attached(12,center)]] A dish that can only be served fresh. It must take a lot of time and effort to gut such a small fish. The taste is light and easy to eat. I shared it with everyone, so I only had about two slices. I might want to eat them all in one go and stuff my mouth full! Dashimaki Tamago (egg rolled in dashi broth) [[attached(13,center)]] I ordered this for a change from the fish I've been eating. Of course! Freshly made, so hot and fluffy! You can also taste the gentle broth, delicious! Deep Fried Utsubo [[attached(14,center)]] It was recommended by the restaurant, so I hurriedly ordered the second half! It is much easier to eat than tataki. The unique texture is lost by deep frying, but the juiciness is enhanced. but the juiciness is enhanced, so it is very tasty! If you have a problem with Utsubo, I highly recommend you to start with Karaage! We ordered two kinds of shime! Of course, we all share! TKG with Shinya Shoten's egg on rice with special top-quality Soda Bushi! [[attached(15,center)]] [[attached(16,center)]] The main ingredient of this dish is Soda-bushi, rather than the TKG. By putting this on, you can upgrade your tsukemono to a much higher level. The taste is so rich and amazing! I am honestly surprised at how different it is! Susaki's specialty Naboyaki Ramen [[attached(17,center)]] One of the members wanted to try it after seeing it on Kenmin Show. The ramen came in a boiling earthenware pot. The soup must be soy sauce based with chicken stock of the parent birds. The noodles are thin suhrate, and the ingredients are oyadori meat, green onion, raw egg, and chikuwa The bowl must be earthenware, the soup must be served boiling, and so on. There are quite detailed requirements. The soup is chicken-based, so it is not too light! It's perfect for shime! If you want to have ramen after going to an izakaya somewhere, you can have it at this one place. I think you can finish your meal at this one restaurant. Aisukurin [[attached(18,center)]] A nostalgic, refreshing taste that will refresh your mouth at once! I haven't had it for a long time, but it was delicious! Although we shared it, we had a lot of it! The owner was full of love for Kochi, and as I know nothing about Kochi, I was able to learn a lot from him! I was curious about what kind of place it was! Kochi is the only prefecture in Shikoku that I have never visited. I'll have to make some travel plans. It was a lot of fun! Thanks for the feast!
