Barley 25° Fukuoka Prefecture Nishiyoshida Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. Rich flavor with barley koji and black koji, a sweet and smooth texture, blended with 5-year-old aged sake, this shochu has a mellow aftertaste that you won't get tired of. Using traditional black koji with great care, it was brewed entirely with koji. Enjoy the rich, fragrant, and bold flavor created by the old-fashioned atmospheric distillation method. Imo 25° Kagoshima Prefecture Jikuya Shuzo Co., Ltd. Kogane Sengann Black Koji. Since its establishment in the 43rd year of the Meiji era, this brewery has continued to produce sweet potato shochu using white koji, and a new history began with black koji. This is the first shochu crafted by Maiko Jikuya as the toji (master brewer). It uses water from the Shiboyama mountain range along with the brewing dilution water. You can feel the soft umami of the sweet potato and the strength of the black koji, and it is a drink with a good finish. It pairs well with any drinking style, so please try it in your preferred way. Shot 550 yen.
