Akashi City in Hyogo Prefecture is a town where the Japan Standard Time Meridian Line passes through, with a blend of nature and history. The city features Akashi Park with castle ruins and the world's longest suspension bridge, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. A local gourmet dish born in this area, 'Akashi Tamagoyaki' is a fluffy and flavorful rolled omelette made with eggs, dashi broth, wheat flour, and octopus.
