Aviator Wine is a store located in Kiyomizu Gojo, Kyoto. The owner, Yuki Okada, is a former foreign airline cabin attendant. She had the opportunity to visit wineries around the world and fell in love with Austrian wine, focusing mainly on small family-owned wineries that carry on a rich history. The wines from these elegant and sophisticated wineries, which embody beliefs, ideals, and dedication passed down through generations in Austria, are not well known in Japan. Aviator Wine offers a wide selection, including wineries that boast three stars in international wine magazines and those favored by top-class restaurants worldwide.
