Awamori is the oldest distilled liquor in Japan, introduced from Thailand in the 15th century, characterized by being made from rice using 'full koji fermentation' with black koji. Not only is awamori delicious, but it is also very good for beauty and health! There are various ways to enjoy it, such as straight, on the rocks, with water, with hot water, with soda, as well as mixed with shikuwasa or turmeric.
