Surprisingly, Mitsuya Cider goes well with soba noodles. It is said that Kenji Miyazawa, famous for 'Night on the Galactic Railroad', used to order his favorite tempura soba and 'Mitsuya Cider' at his favorite soba restaurant every time he received his salary as a teacher. Definitely a great accompaniment to tempura soba.
